Well, I was hoping there would be more of the article, since the “press this” I pressed, alas, it is a great campaign.

My friends and I are waiting for tickets to go on sale for:
It’s been quite a while since we’ve gotten together to participate in an organized event, and what better reason to bring friends together than beer!
March 21, 2012
The official count down to the beer fest and being with my friends again. Of course we’ve spoken about the plan before and after the event. I’ll be arriving on Friday morning, from Pinola Mississippi, I am looking forward to this road trip. A chance to just be on the road, with my thoughts, and my audio books on my iPhone.

I will be sitting on this just like East Nashville Beer Fest. Did I mention that I was able to get tickets for this? It was pretty scary at first, the website boasted of being able to handle all traffic, and fortunately it did because they sold out in 58 minutes. I believe Dark Lord Day will be just the same, I just hope they made server provisions for the traffic.
Im fortunate that a friend of mine that Ive known since grade school wants to
Dragons Milk, what a name for a beer! Upon merely hearing the name you feel like you are partaking of something that has an enigmatic history. Do I dare? Of course! How could I pass on such an opportunity? What adventure lies ahead?
So much for extended prose…
A bit of history: my sister and I used to frequent a place that played reggae, that place moved and the space was unoccupied for what I thought was a long while-in my terms-a couple years. We happened upon Locals Only Art Music Pub as a result of pure luck, we wanted to go somewhere to celebrate Friday that was close. I had seen it on several occasions and mentioned to my sister that we should give it a try. She agreed. I arrived before she did, went in and found a seat at the bar.
I suppose I could attempt to describe the place in detail, but whats the point? But I would just like to say that is cozy, with a pool table to greet you, stage for musicians, and adequate, proportionally sized bar. Oh, it is a Chicago Bears bar.
The food menu, which starts at 5:30 PM puts a nice twist on some familiar foods. The do some wonderful and interesting things with peanut butter. I can honestly say, Dont knock it until youve tried it.
The bands that Ive seen are more underground than main stream, but thats just my opinion. And I should also add that the ones that I have seen did not disappoint.
See you soon LOAMP!
Theres been a lot of talk about Indianapolis hosting the Super Bowl this year. Evidently there are some items this year that have raised the bar for hosting cities that of course must be topped next year. Ill be trekking to down town Indy tomorrow, and expect to see a bustling village that offers something for everyone. I sort of wish it would snow and be seasonably bitter cold, so that all of the heaters and canopies would be put to proper use.
Im writing this using the wonderful little app for my blog – just about ready to close my eyes for the night. Sort of depressing for a Friday, but such is life for the unemployed single.
Thinking about tomorrow, its possible that updates will be real time. I hope my friends will be able to travel here next week to be a part of the spectacle.
Until tomorrow…
7 hours after posting, guess what I see… SNOW! And it seems to be sticking.
